2020 saw the addition of our second, larger, Bell Tent here at Camp Cynrig. The Big Bell Tent is perfect for an unforgettable family glamping holiday and hosts its own private kitchenette and dining area in a Shepherds Hut structure.

We are proud to say that our site has been described as 'having an attention to detail that is second to none' and announced as the Winner of the Brecon Beacons Tourism Award 2016 in the camping & caravanning category. Well Done Rob!!

Supplied in our Big Bell Tent is a handmade double bed with memory foam mattress, three single futons and one small child's z-bed. It is further kitted out with a log burner, firewood*, firelighters, basic cushions, solar lights. The Big Bell Tent is semi off-grid. Electricity is available if requested upon booking and will allow use of an electric log burner and 240v sockets with USB points.

The private Shepherds Hut kitchenette is off-grid with solar powered lights and USB points and hosts a dining area, cool box, gas camping stove and all your essential cooking equipment. The bell tent has its own outdoor BBQ/Campfire, seating and hammock area.

The Bell Tents also have use of the communal al fresco kitchen area which has more gas cooking appliances and lots of cooking implements. There is also access to a solar powered freezer where you can help yourself to ice-packs for your cool box.

Please note: We do not supply bedding or towels so please bring your own pillows, sleeping bags, duvets, towels tea towels etc. We can hire sleeping bags out at a charge of £10 per bag. Please aim to give us advance notice if you wish to hire them.

Prices are based on two adults - Children stay for FREE!!* Extra adults are charged at £20 per person, per night.

The Large Bell Tent sleeps 5 on one double bed and three single futons. We can provide a foam Z bed for an additional 6th bed, this is suitable for a child.

The Bell Tent is largely off-grid, if you wish to use the electric log-burner and 3-pin points then electricity is available for an addtional charge of £2 per night.
